Barbara McNally.
Time
to stop ranting and raving against junk living and get the good word
out. I moved to New York from California with my son Zach to see if we
could make a real life in the big city—and that's just what we're
doing.
Christine Pittel.
always
sees the good parts in life—who could be better at writing about
the good people out there? She's been there every step of the way,
reading, editing, cheering me on. She lives in New York with her
husband and her daughter Isabella.

Nina Jordan.
started drawing the minute I started talking. That's when you know it's a good match. Thankfully, all the food in A Real Life
is the good stuff, because she and I eat half of it and draw what's
left. (Notice the organic chocolate is never pictured.) She lives in
New York with her husband, her son Joseph, and her cat Smiley.

Deb Krumholz.
Not
only does she handle all the subscriptions, she's a whiz at
researching, too. Deb lives in Massachusetts with her husband and her
daughter Gabriella.

Ann Lovejoy.
How
did she know I'm not a gardener? Out of the blue, a letter from Ann
arrived in my mailbox, offering to spread some of her seeds of wisdom.
This cutting-edge gardening expert lives in the great Northwest with
her two teenage sons.

Laurel Robertson.
wrote
the book on good cooking as far as I'm concerned. Right away she got
the idea and jumped in to help. She lives in a community in northern
California. Somehow, between writing and cooking for 50 people, she
finds time to keep in touch with us.

Phil Stutz.
keeps
telling me it's all in the process. I think he's got something there. A
psychiatrist, a writer, and a friend indeed, Phil lives in California
but his heart's in New York.
